Works on paper, Yupo and canvas by Stan Kurth
As a man who has done sentinel duty, and sometimes under cover of fog or the night time, I get great feeling from this.Is it okay with you if I interpret this painting that way? It moves to the top of my list for your wonderful work.
I like the moody colours in the first one and also like the first black and white one. :)
Casey - Yes, perfect! I appreciate your interpretation and thank you for being a sentinel as well. It would be fun to sit down and talk about our various adventures one day.Rosalie - Thanks, moody is good (in my opinion).
Always a staunch fan of your work. These pieces are no exception...I could get lost in a few of these worlds.Makes me glad to have your blog on my list.
DJ - Thanks for the very nice compliments. I think I'm in a different world when drawing them.
These are wonderful Stan! I was drawn by the colors and title of the first one to come see it and am completely drawn in by the marks and value designs on the drawings underneath as well. Always a great experience to see what you have been working on.
Tonya - Thanks, as always I'm appreciative of your comments. Hope you and yours are doing well and out of harms way.
I am moved by your drawings...they evoke such emotion.
Donna - Thank you!
Wow! Stan...I just discovered you via Nick Simmons' blog...I absolutely love your work...and I'm not just saying that.
Nancy - Thank you. I've not been keeping up with this blog too much. I find facebook works well for this sort of thing and it's so much easier to scroll through lots and lots of art.
I'm getting a kick out of these black and white pieces, nice. Best.
